Chemical Engineering

EEC has been involved with various chemical engineering projects including process design, plant troubleshooting, plant optimization, project management, process safety management, control systems design and analysis. Our staff of highly qualified/licensed professional chemical engineers provides a vast array of knowledge and experience within this realm of engineering.

EEC Chemical Engineers have provided services for various clients within the industrial sector including refining, chemical, natural gas, and coke and steel production.

The below-captioned items are not all-inclusive of EEC’s capabilities; rather they provide insight into EEC’s chemical engineering capabilities.

Process design

Process design can be the design of new facilities or it can be the modification or expansion of existing facilities. The design starts at a conceptual level and ultimately ends in the form of fabrication and construction plans.

Process Control

Process control is extensively used in industry and enables mass production of continuous processes such as oil refining, chemicals, power plants and many other industries. Process control enables automation, with which a small staff of operating personnel can operate a complex process from a central control room.

Process Safety Management

To ensure compliance with the OSHA Process Safety Management standard, chemical engineers are utilized to support Process Hazard Analysis for various clients which are under regulatory guidelines to complete and revalidate these studies.

Process Simulation

Process simulation is a model-based representation of chemical, physical, and other technical processes and unit operations using simulation software.  Development of models for a better representation of real processes is the core of the further development of the simulation software.

EEC is a multidiscipline engineering firm and we can provide this support across all disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Process, etc.
