The client top loads hot liquid asphalt into a variety of tanker trucks. The client's operating personnel must walk from the loading rack platform down onto the top of the tanker trucks in order to manipulate hatches ands observe filling. Previously, he had only an outboard grab bar for protection against falling. A safer OSHA compliant means of protection for this operation was needed. EEC conducted a product search and found a combination of purchased parts to accomplish a full 360 degree protection system. This system can adapt itself to trucks of varying heights and top hatch configurations. This system was installed on a three bay loading rack.
