A major printing ink manufacturer retained EEC to perform a plant wide review and update of all of their Process & Instrumentation Diagrams. EEC completed this task by performing walk-downs of all the processes by mechanical designers. Updates were made to the P&ID documents. Instrumentation technicians then reviewed mechanically updated P&IDs for relevant updates to the Instrumentation aspects. The instrumentation technician field visited every instrument and verified output and controls in the plant Distribution Control System (DCS).
