Project Description

The Raceland / Worthington Independent Schools was in need of a new gymnasium. The school board interviewed architects and engineers and selected the team of Ed Tucker Architects (ETA) and Eta Engineering Consultants (EEC). ETA handled the architectural scope and EEC performed the engineering functions.

The project design was successful by meeting the schools needs and budget. The general contractor selected is currently working on the project with an anticipated completion date of August 2004. The total projects costs will be approximately 90 percent of approved budget amount.

EEC performed design services for surveying, site work, civil/structural, mechanical systems, electrical/lighting, plumbing systems and project management. The design team has worked so well together that the school system has awarded an additional project to the team, a $1.3 MM auditorium
